Istanbul in 3 days
A dense short break across both banks of the Bosphorus: historic sites, markets and a boat crossing.

Three days are enough to taste Istanbul without exhaustion if you group neighborhoods by geography. Start with the old city, where the major monuments cluster.
Day 1: the Sultanahmet district and the great historic sites, then the Grand Bazaar. Day 2: Beyoğlu and İstiklal Avenue, followed by a Bosphorus ferry crossing at sunset.
Day 3: the Asian side (Kadıköy) for a calmer local feel, cafés and food markets. Trams and ferries are practical and affordable with a single transit card.
Leave time for local food and balance monuments with wandering. Check entry conditions with official sources before booking.
